A Nigerian woman identified as Aisha Salaudeen recently took to social media to express displeasure over what she experienced at the immigration office because of her refusal to adopt her husband's surname.
She said she was judged harshly by immigration staff who could not stop talking about her decision to keep her surname.
Aisha tweeted:

Aisha said one of the women expressed shock that she had not changed her state of origin to that of her husband.
