The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom alongside four governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) known as G5 on Monday commissioned some projects in the state.
The event had in attendance Governors Seyi Makinde (Oyo), Nyesom Wike (Rivers), Okezie Ikpeazu (Abia), and Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi (Enugu).
The aggrieved PDP Governors in the past few months have called for the resignation of the national chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu.
Naija News gathered that one of the projects inaugurated on Monday was the 2.1km Township Road constructed by the Ortom administration.
Ortom administration decided to name the road after the Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.
The road which leads to the house of the PDP National Chairman and behind the Commissioner’s Quarters was inaugurated by a former governor of Benue, Gabriel Suswam.
The governors also, during the inauguration of the projects, called for support for all PDP candidates in the state, including the governorship candidate of the party, Titus Uba.

The Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom on Sunday noted that he would not be supporting the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.
Ortom said he would not support Atiku who is not concerned about the continuous killings of the Benue people.
The Benue State Governor while lamenting the killing of people in his local government last week said, “to hell with Atiku and anyone supporting him.”
