Britain’s Got Talent is returning this weekend for Series 17, and the show has shared an early release clip to give us a sneak peek at one of the performances fans can expect to see. It involves all four judges performing a song from The Greatest Showman.
BGT Judges Sing The Greatest Showman Through AI
In the early release clip, the judges are initially confused as a group of performers step out on stage dressed in costumes inspired by The Greatest Showman. Cameras are then placed in front of the performers’ faces.
The real shock came when the judges looked at the screen and saw themselves in the costumes worn by the performers, singing “The Greatest Show.” Simon Cowell appeared to wear a ringleader’s outfit, while Amanda Holden was transformed into a bearded lady. Alesha Dixon sported pink hair, and Bruno Tonioli looked like a strongman.
The performance was accomplished through the use of AI. We’ve seen this kind of act before on America’s Got Talent, from the group Metaphysic — who finished in fourth place on Season 17. The clip doesn’t specify who is behind this new performance, so we wonder if Metaphysic is bringing their talents across the pond.
The judges got a kick out of seeing themselves perform on the screen, laughing and dancing along to the song. Cowell seemed embarrassed, but he should be used to it after watching Metaphysic do the same thing to him on AGT.

Series 17 Premieres This Weekend
It was recently announced that Series 17 of Britain’s Got Talent would have a two-night premiere on Saturday and Sunday, April 20 and 21. The episodes will be available for fans in the UK to watch on ITV1, ITVX, and STV.
Ahead of the new season, BGT shared a funny teaser featuring the four judges along with hosts Ant and Dec. They talk to a panel of “TV experts,” who are actually just a bunch of kids in glasses and lab coats. They suggest that the judges should throw a big party at Cowell’s house.
