If you want more, more, more, The Masked Singer season 8 is perfect for you! The previews are promising more stars, more costumes, and more shocking reveals! Thanks to new twists and turns, there’s plenty to be excited about. And I’m sure we’ll see plenty of talented acts too!

The final costume to be revealed, the Mermaid looks absolutely majestic! In all the previews, Mermaid is lounging in a shell. I love that for her! But who is the celebrity under the mask? Here’s everything we know so far!

Clues on The Masked Singer Season 8

The single clue we received for the Mermaid before the season came from Instagram. The “mask-ray” clue was a seashell! Could it be someone with a connection to the Seashell from a few seasons ago, Tamara Mowry-Housley? She does have a twin sister, Tia Mowry, after all, or her TV mom from Sister, Sister, Jackée Harry, would also be a fun contestant.

The fact that Mermaid is often seen sitting/lying down could also point to an older celebrity under the mask. That could definitely be an early clue about her identity!

Popular Guesses for The Masked Singer Mermaid

Tia Mowry seems to be a popular guess online, but there’s no way The Masked Singer would be that obvious with a clue! Some other predictions include Jodi Benson (the original voice of Ariel on The Little Mermaid) or Mel B. After her performance posted online, the most popular guesses included Liza Minnelli and Kathleen Turner. Everyone agrees this Mermaid can SANG!
